Track Name: Highway Wind
All my father ever gave me was a name to wear around. My mother gave me kindness like a chain to hold me down. And both of these I threw away shooting through that town. Nothing there could hold me. Nothing there could hold me. Nothing there could hold me...

When I started talking to, that old Highway Wind
He said son, you know that keeping still's
The closest thing to dying
And deep inside my soul, I could see he wasn't lying
That's why I started following, that old Highway Wind

Well I bought my first Chevrolet, with bullets and burning steel. And a tank filled up with gasoline was included in the deal. And I quickly learned to use my hands, but I never learnt to feel. So I held onto nothing. I held onto nothing. I held onto nothing….

When I started talking to, that old Highway Wind
He said son, you know that keeping still's
The closest thing to dying
And deep inside my soul, I could see he wasn't lying
That's why I started following, that old Highway Wind

Well I ended up in Iowa, I worked amongst the corn. Found a farmers daughter whose smile broke like the dawn. She wanted me forever, she held me like a storm. But her arms couldn't hold me, no her arms couldn't hold me….. So I drove, into the desert. I sailed over the sea. And where the road was open that old wind would talk to me. And I always did believe him though his face, I couldn't see. Did I believe in nothing? Did I believe in nothing? Did I believe in nothing?

When I started talking to, that old Highway Wind
He said son, you know that keeping still's
The closest thing to dying
And deep inside my soul, I could see he wasn't lying
That's why I keep on following, that old Highway Wind
Track Name: Hiding In Tennessee
She pushed my buttons so many times
With one too many pretty lies
Told her I'm going to buy a snack
Got to the highway did not turn back

I'm cutting loose I'm breaking free
Well I'm out running a memory
So tell that woman don't, look for me
I'll be hiding, I'll be hiding
I'll be Hiding in Tennessee

I'll grow a moustache I'll wear a hat
I'll be a master of disguise
So if she finds out, where I'm at
My face she won't recognise

I'm cutting loose I'm breaking free
Well I'm out running a memory
So tell that woman don't, look for me
I'll be Hiding in Tennessee

I might shake it down, in Jackson town
Climb them Smokey Mountain tops
It don't matter where, I end up there
Long as where I am she's not

I'm cutting loose I'm breaking free
Well I'm out running a memory
So tell that woman don't, look for me
I'll be hiding, I'll be hiding
I'll be Hiding in Tennessee
Track Name: A Light Is Shining
Every lesson I learned
I learned the hard way
Every corner I turned
I turned the wrong way
But every time that I fell
I got up and kept on climbing

For every up there's a down
Every silence a sound
For every shadow on the ground
A Light Is Shining

All the love that I made
Somewhere I was wasting it
And every promise I gave
Somewhere I was breaking it
But every time that I fell
I got up and kept on climbing
For every up there's a down
For every silence a sound
For every shadow on the ground A Light Is Shining

Everytime that I fell
I got up and kept on climbing
For every up there's a down
Every silence a sound
For every shadow on the ground
A Light Is Shining...
