lyrics

I can’t believe it’s October Again
Another year is disappearing
No one can tell me now, where it has gone
Well nothing much is changing here
I grew my hair a little longer
Didn’t drink so much, but I fell over more,

And all I’ve taken from the year
Were a few more smiles, a million tears
Comfort from the cold
So here’s to growing old
And here’s to the future

I can’t believe it’s October Again
And I’m missing your company
But I was free to try the ideas on my shelf
So one night I discovered myself
Singing in a rock and roll band
We’re getting nowhere slowly
But we try the best we can

And all I’ve taken from the year
Were a few more smiles, a million tears
Comfort from the cold
So here’s to growing old
And here’s to the future

I can’t believe it’s October Again
Another year is disappearing
But I’m not so afraid
Of what’s coming anymore
Because I found myself a life
And I swear I’m going to live it up
And I'm never giving up
Until I find what I came for

All I’ve taken from the year
Were a few more smiles a million tears
Comfort from the cold
So here’s to growing old
And here’s to the future
